Victor Yuan is a versatile director and writer based in Los Angeles, California.

His directing style is both technical and dramatic. His diverse body of work covers dramatic narrative films, vice-style documentaries, commercials, and music videos.

He grew up in Allentown, Pennsylvania with Chinese immigrant parents. His melting-pot upbringing ignited a natural curiosity in framing the world around him. Directing became his calling. He spent over 10 years perfecting the craft of directing, falling in love with the entire filmmaking process.

He received his BA at the University of San Francisco where he majored in Media Studies and Film. Soon after, he was trained in the Meisner method at Playhouse West. While in Los Angeles, he was part of numerous crews for TV shows on Amazon Prime, NBC, and CBS. With a background in directing/screenwriting, formal training as an actor, and prior involvement in different TV departments, he considers his direction to be both wide in scope and microscopic in detail.
